Does VenueIQ integrate with my POS system?

Currently, VenueIQ works via CSV import from any POS system. Export your sales data, upload to VenueIQ, and we handle the rest. Direct API integrations are on the roadmap, and early access partners help prioritize which POS systems we integrate with first.
How does real-time cost tracking work?

When you process a supplier invoice in StockIQ, ingredient prices automatically update across all recipes that use those ingredients. Historical cost snapshots let you see exactly when and how costs changed. You can set alerts to notify you when recipe costs increase beyond your threshold (e.g., 5%).
What is BCG matrix analysis?

BCG matrix is a menu engineering framework that classifies dishes into 4 categories:
Stars: High popularity, high profitability - promote these! Cash Cows: Lower popularity but high profit - keep them for profit margins. Question Marks: High popularity but low profit - reprice or restructure. Dogs: Low popularity, low profit - consider removing from menu.
VenueIQ automatically calculates this using your sales data and recipe costs.
Can I track multiple venues?

How long does setup take?

Basic setup takes 15-30 minutes. Adding your full menu, recipes, and historical data might take a few hours depending on your venue size. Early access partners get custom onboarding - we help you through the process and can even assist with data entry if needed.
Do I need to migrate from existing systems?

VenueIQ doesn't replace your POS or accounting software - it connects to them. Think of it as the analytics layer that sits on top, pulling data from various sources to give you unified insights. You keep using your existing systems; VenueIQ just makes sense of the data.
Can I import existing recipe data?
